slaterousJ
Hi, it would be VERY nice to have a file library-function. Like the libraries for Adobe (which work like a piece of shi*). It doesn`t have to be online/cloud based. Local files would be enough. Because I use some elements for my clients a lot (Logos etc.) in different documents, so I wouldn`t have to search them everytime on my file/network-drives. Then I could just drag and drop them from a library panel in the document and it inserts the linked file. Anyway. Great software and finally an useful alternative to photoshop. GarryP
Welcome to the forums @slaterousJ Have you tried using Assets? If you have, and they don’t have the functionality you need, can you say what’s missing?
slaterousJ
YES! That`s what I was looking for. I was stuck with searching for (file) library or trying the "library" panel. Is it possible to move assets between categories? Thats the only thing that would be nice to have, the rest works perfectly. Thanks a lot
GarryP
You’re welcome. (It can be difficult searching for what you want when you don’t know the right search term.) I don’t use assets much but you can add assets to multiple categories and then delete them from the categories you don’t want them in. If you can’t move them between categories then you could put in a feature request or, better still, look for an existing request and add your voice to that thread. That's the workaround I'm using right now. 3 hours ago, RNKLN said: Try holding the Option/Alt key, at least on Mac. With that I can move assets between subcategories, but not between "main"-categories. But it's ok. The workaround is good so far.
