evtonic3
Can you please add auto select the mask layer when I hit the make mask layer button at the bottom of the layers panel? It would be so useful.
carl123
Mine (Windows) appears to do that already. What OS are you on? RNKLN
Same here as evtonic3, also on macOS. Can't find a preference or setting that could influence this (I tried Auto-scroll to selection in layers panel, but nope). Old Bruce
Checking here on Mac OS 10.14.6 I don't see the Mask being selected if it is being added as a child layer as per the settings in the Assistant. However It is selected for immediate work with the brushes, just not highlighted. If I change the Assistant to add Masks not as child layers then the Mask is selected and properly highlighted. evtonic3 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
