lenogre
What I want but I don't know how…
loukash
What you would need is a "spread number" placeholder on master pages, but that doesn't exist. However, you can work around by "misusing" the Section Manager instead, inserting the Section Name placeholder as your "page number", and "naming" your sections by spread numbers: Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
lenogre
300 pages for this document… I'm stupid. I'd better to make only one page instead two pages…
loukash
Well, you can't have it all… But what about the Data Merge Layout tool? I haven't even used it yet, but you might possibly be able to "misuse" it for your purpose as well. Don't be shy. lenogre
I have resolved my problem. Two pages are now one page and numbers are ok. After changing the format, little troubles : thumbnails of pages are wrong but if you click on each, it becomes ok. There were lettrines at the beginning of every chapter and they have disappeared but when clicking on text and add a letter, they reappeared. If e.g. page imposition is not a requirement, then this will work, of course. I haven't proposed this solution because I assumed that you want to keep the facing pages intact.
