Dark UI Style or Light UI Style

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Still very much getting used to Affinity, and there is one fairly minor thing that is bugging me.

I like my workspace for photo editing to be dark; it seems to make the image stand out more as we all know. But I don't really like my Mac in Dark Mode, and so I always have it set to Light Mode.

Affinity Photo seems to think that, if I want its UI Style dark for the workspace, I want everything else in Dark Mode as well. When this bugs me the most is when I'm opening a file and the Finder window appears within Affinity in the Dark Mode style that I'm really not used to.

Would it be possible to have an option for the UI workspace to be dark, but for the Finder window within the app retaining it's Light Mode look?

This is exactly how it works in Windows - Affinity workspace is dark, the OS dialogs (File Explorer) according to the OS settings, ie light.
