DrBob53
Hi, I'm new to AF Photo, so this may be my ignorance. I'm trying to make a 360 cylindrical panorama (ie 360 horizontal x 120 vertical) from 12 portriat photographs taken with an 18mm (35 equivalent) lens. There is plenty of overlap and AF Photo appears to make a good job of stitching most of the pictures. Unfortulanely a stitching error is causing a gap which is preventing the full 360 wrap. If you look in the screenshot I have marked corresponding points on both sides of the gap. The pictures are taken with a tripod, level and the sun was overcast so no problems with moving shadows. It looks like AF it not giving enough freedom to the exact focal length to allow a proper wrapping. Staff stokerg Posted September 15, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 15, 2021 Hi @DrBob53, Sorry for the delay in replying to your post. We were extremely busy when you posted your question and are just catching up with the last of the backlog of tickets now. Are you still having this trouble with the latest version of Affinity? If you are, could you make the images available again and i'll try to help
DrBob53
HI, Thanks for taking this up. I have just created a new project in AP 1.10.0.1127 and there is still a gap (at slightly different place). I have now switched to Hugin which did not have a problem. I am uploading the files again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vxgodw1np611mo0/360Stitching_bug.zip?dl=
