WamB Posted April 6, 2021 Share Posted April 6, 2021 When I use Affinity Photo as a plug-in for photos on my Mac, it opens raw files just fine in the develop persona. But if I go straight to Affinity Photo desktop and try to open the same raw pic from photos, it doesn't open as raw- it opens in the photo persona. Sony ILCE-7M2. We were extremely busy when you posted your question and are just catching up with the last of the backlog of tickets now. Are you still having this trouble in the latest version of Affinity Photo? If so, can you check what RAW Engine Affinity is currently using by clicking View>Assistant Manager On the Assistant Manager click on the Develop Assistant and try changing the RAW Engine to Apple Core and then try opening your RAW file again.
