Specific mm spacing between dotted lines

Sorry if this has been answered, but I couldn't find it.

I am trying to make dotted lines that the dots are 1.5mm large and the spacing between them (*<-->* the distance between the *s here) are 6mm apart. But I'm not sure what the spacing should be set to. Any help?

 

To try and clarify, i do not want it from inside one dot to the inside of another (middle, or otherwise). I want it from where one ends and the other begins.

I'm not using mm as the settings but inches.

I am close not not 100% by using width at 4.3 and DASH 0 4.28 0 0 

But it's not precise, and I need them as precise as possible

You'll get precisely 1.5 mm dots and 6 mm gaps if you enter the values I gave you.

You can enter 1.5 mm into the width field regardless of your document units.
