DorineO
Hello, I am desperate, because since my update to 1.9.2.1035 my laptop (ThinkPad) intel core 17 crashes all the time. Especially when using the inpainting tool. After a few seconds Affinity Photo freezes. I also cannot export a photo as a PNG document. It saves without all the adjustments I made. HELP. I work with Windows 10.
Joachim_L
Welcome to the Affinity forums @DorineO! First, check if disabling hardware acceleration in Preferences >> Performance cures your problem. Second, check if all graphic drivers are up to date. Third, check if Windows is up to date. Fourth, if all fails, upload a crash report to this thread. You'll find the crash reports here: %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports\reports Chris B 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
DorineO
I disabled hardware acceleration and since then no crashes anymore. Thanks. But now I have the problem that my clone brush tool does not work anymore. Any idea? Edited April 8, 2021 by DorineO
