evtonic3
Can I only search in one artboard for the same color found in more than one? For concepts, I copy an artboard that has everything right except for tweaking the colors and so I'd like to be able to choose only the same fill color on the second copy to adjust it but leave that same color on the first one artboard, hope this makes sense. walt.farrell
It makes sense, but no, you can't. The Select Same operations currently look at all Artboards and can't be restricted. evtonic3
I thought I almost had the solution when I shift-clicked away the first artboard's contents but it wound up applying the color change anyway.
loukash
Since an artboard is an object and a container, a workaround is to select the Artboard layer in the Layers panel copy create a temporary new empty document paste do your edits copy the edited Artboard layer switch to your original document paste the edited artboard delete the original artboard Bevc, evtonic3 and walt.farrell 3 Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
prophet
If "locking" worked the way it should in the Affinity Suite, one could lock the artboards to be ignored and proceed with the selection, but sadly…
B064RT
wish the "select same" can be applied just on active artboard on next update

The planners look in the Feature Requests part of the forum to gather input for future changes, so I'm afraid your wish won't be seen by them here.
