Hi there I am new to Affinity Photos and have just purchased and downloaded the software. I received some free overlay bundles when signing up and have downloaded them from the manage my account page from Affinity. However I cannot find on my Mac where these bundles were downloaded to to install.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you open the My Accounts dialog in Affinity Photo, and find the entry for an item, you will see that there's an arrow on the left that you can click to expand it. You'll also see an icon on the right indicating whether it has been downloaded or not.

If you expand the entry, you'll find a description of what was downloaded. For example:

image.png.9c9f3078134cb354114e30b56d28b588.png

That tells us that "20 Fog Overlays" is installed, and that the overlays are "afassets", so you would find them in the Assets panel in the studio.

The Assets panel does not display by default, so if it is not installed you would use View > Studio > Assets in the menu to display it. You might also need to use View > Studio > Show Left Studio if you don't have the left studio panels displayed.

You could also View the User Guide, which will have useful information (including how to install them manually, and information about what they are).
