PaulEC
I've just installed version 1.9.2 and notice that the Brushes Tab defaults to the set of bushes that is at the top of the list. I'm sure that it used to stay on the last set selected. It's a bit of a nuisance, as I normally leave it on the basic set. walt.farrell
It has always defaulted to the one at the top, as far as I know (and that's certainly how 1.9.0 behaves). But in prior releases the one at the top was always Basic. Starting in 1.9.2 you have the option of sorting the category list, and it defaults to sorting based on the name, but you can change it to "Date Added": Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Staff Chris B Posted March 31, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 31, 2021 Since we've allowed you to sort the brushes, it's either by date added or name, Acrylic has moved itself above Basic... The only workaround I can think of is that you rename Acrylic but that's sloppy at best. I'll feed this back to dev. PaulEC
Thanks for your replies. I know I'm being awkward, I like having the brushes arranged alphabetically, but I also want the Basic set to be the "default". I sorted it by renaming the Basic set as _Basic. 👍 walt.farrell and PetervL 2 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad
