Varemel Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) I want to try Affinity Designer before purchase it. I installed 1.9.2 version, activated trial today. But cant start to use app because it freezes Windows when I click create new document (new document --> choose and click A4 --> freezes Windows until I end task via Windows Task Manager). I read on your forum that 1.8.2 version is working better on Windows 10. So I uninstalled 1.9.2 and installed 1.8.2. But now I can't try it because my trial is somehow expired in 1 day. Affinity Designer 1.9.2 is not working properly, I dont want to buy it for obvious reasons (it freezes Windows on new document creation) and its more likely that 1.8.2 version will have same problems. Maybe you can give me advice what I can do in this situation? Is there any way to solve problem with new document creation or start new trial and try 1.8.2 vesion?
