URGENT! All "l" are pixeled in PDF-Export

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

this is the first big project using APublisher as a former Serif PagePlus and AI user. For some reason, all "l" and some "." are pixeled as soon as I export them into PDF. See exampel. No change of font, export into curves does make a difference. I never had this issue nowhere before. Do you have an idee, what this may be?

Other than that I'm very happy with the Affinity Suite.

Is this rendering error or are the "l" and "." really rasterized? Which PDF viewer are you using? Can you post a PDF page where this happens?

I very much doubt that they’re really rasterized. It’s much more likely that the thickening is caused by an option such as ‘Enhance thin lines’ being switched on in the PDF viewer.

OMG ! I didn't know. Thank you so much for all the info. In printing there is no prob. Only viewing in PDF Acrobat Pro, doesn't matter of fonts, only small "l". Which is still irritating for all viewers.

Well - YESSSSY!! Thanks a lot for this clue. I've had this on: enhance thin lines / Dünne Linien deutlicher machen in my Viewer. And now it is all fine. Thanks a lot.
