I am totally unable to use the software right now.

I'm on the latest macos on a macbook pro.

In the middle of a project where nothing unusual was happening at all, the canvas began scrolling to the right on its own for no apparent reason. When my mouse isn't over the canvas or the gray area surrounding the canvas, it doesn't scroll at all. When the mouse is over that area, it scrolls continuously to the right. Obviously, this makes it impossible to work on the canvas.

No other program is behaving in a way that indicates a mouse issue.

I tried unplugging and replugging my keyboard and mouse in case some weird hotkey was stuck somehow.

I tried restarting the program.

I tried installing the latest update and restarting the program.

I tried restarting my computer.

Nothing works -- when the cursor is over in over the active area, it scrolls to the right continuously.

I'm beyond pissed. I'm going to blow a deadline because of this. Please help.

And only unplugging? Unplugging Keyboard or Mouse stop scrolling?

@PeteMichaud

Which app are you using?

In designer there are a few settings under Preferences: Tools

Maybe turn some of these off to eliminate them as a probable cause.
