Can Designer use the place command by right clicking the mouse

I came from Adobe Fireworks and use to right clicking my mouse to bring up the menu to select the import ( place ) command. In designer I have to go to "file >> place" 
Is there a setting to make the place command when right clicking the mouse on the document to bring up a place command? 

Any help would be appreciated.

Sadly no. I have always used a keyboard shortcut (Command + Shift + M) for placing. I realize that is not what you wanted to hear.
