I’m not a Mac user, so I’m afraid I can’t answer your question about export problems. As for your other question, if you have the Mac App Store version of Affinity Photo you can only downgrade via a Time Machine or similar backup, but if you have the Affinity Store version you can download and install any of several earlier versions from the following page:

It's always also a good idea to name your MacOS version then for crash reports etc. - Other than that ...

  1. First check if a more actual Beta version probably may have fixed these export problems for you. Maybe you have luck.
  2. If it always crashes too, then look if it's maybe an already known and reported but yet unfixed problem here in the "Photo Bugs found on MacOS" forum section. If you like, you can then send a crash report (always name your MacOS version too) to that forum section then.
  3. In order to downgrade either way, see Alfreds above answer, which sums up the only possibilities you have in this case.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
