Crashing on open/create files

Recommended Posts

Hi, can be the same error which is responsible. Take a look at my other thread about the Windows 10 update. In Affinity it was printing which caused the death screen, Wordpad crashed the computer at startup. Maybe yours has the same source.

Probably it is the Windows update which is responsible.

Look at my other thread and try to update the optional update. It is a known issue when you update around mid March.

Hope this helps.

Chris

Hi @user0451,

Sorry to see you're having trouble and our sincerest apologies for the delayed reply. We're currently working through a backlog of tickets, so we appreciate your patience and understanding here.

Can you please confirm for me is this crashing still happening for you in the latest version (1.9.2)?

Do you know if you have OpenCL Hardware Acceleration enabled?

Many thanks in advance :)

Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave.

If you require urgent assistance, please create a new thread and a member of our team will be sure to assist asap.

Many thanks :)
