ennuied
When I use pencil tool I cannot draw one single curve, because every time I let go(because I have to right?) the curve breaks, so I have hundreds of curves instead of one single curve. So what magical button or option I have to use to CONTINUE the curve, the way it supposed to be. Thanks.
firstdefence
There isn't a magical solution to this dilemma, the only option at the moment would be to join the strokes manually. ennuied
Ok I found the solution but I got an advice. Rename the fancy name "sculpt" into something like "CONTINUE THE CURVE". That would help.

You just happen to have found (very usefully, thank you!) that the sculpting process can amend not only the middle part of a curve but the ends, too. V.N.
Wow! Something else I've wished for and didn't know about. I can see I'm going to have to spend a lot of time going through this forum.
firstdefence
Actually, after re reading the post and replies I'm not sure I was wrong, those tools are not available for the pencil tool, they are for the pen tool. they will edit a drawn pencil curve but they cannot fix the issue of continuing the pencil line while using the pencil tool so to be honest I was right not wrong. StuartRc
I have to agree with @Alfred The 'Sculpt' tool has the perfect name for the job it is designed to do. Extending and reshaping lines is something that I find myself doing all the time. Sometimes it is the reverse context that is more important...By Using the Pen tool for drawing then reshape with pencil tool (or extend either end as in this case!) but you can also apply this to 'Vector Brushes' which I like a lot! V.N.
@First Defense, it does work with pencil. I just tried it. The trick is to start your new curve by clicking on the last node of the previous one. You can even close the curve by clicking on the first node of the first curve. The curve can be continued, there is a setting for it, it is called "sculpt", which I didn't know about. Now please stop misleading people. firstdefence
