So ill just not write anything more lol Lens corection and Chrom. abberation bog down my computer. OK, but my point (such as it is) is that if the Develop Assistant is not enabled, it should not have any effect -- its settings should be ignored ... I think. After restarting Photo, it worked as intended: Assistant Active, and "Default Lens Profile" set to none, Photo does not apply the profile when opening a RAW file. Never the less, it showed the lens profile (from EXIF data), but un-checked and without appplying it.
