Ciminera
... but I can't find anything via searches other than speculation like one post suggesting "it's not a very well kept secret that it's serif's next project". So, Lightroom competitor from Affinity. Is it coming? What is the current state of play on this? I'm not looking for other apps it's possible to use, I'm just specifically asking about the possibility and if so, timeline of what's coming. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Serif has not said whether they are working on anything else, and is unlikely to say anything about anything they may be working on. They certainly have not said anything about a timeframe and are even less likely to comment on that. Andy05
And seriously, with all the quirks and needed workarounds in the current affinity suite, I hope they do not focus on releasing another app prior to fixing the existing ones and adding essentially missing stuff to their current products. R C-R
If you mean the fabled Affinity DAM, the staff said that while there was sone preliminary work done for that, the project has been shelved for now so they can concentrate on the (much needed!) refinements & bug fixes of the 3 existing Affinity apps. No word on if or when they will restart that project, if some DAM features will find their way into future versions of the existing apps, or what. Pšenda
Just follow this topic: If there is any change that would be interesting for users, Serif will certainly mention it here.
