R Smith
I have been using Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher for windows on a Surface Pro 7. Whilst the Surface in plugged into the dock and has an external display every works fine but if I unplug from the dock and external display A P,D,&P display the splash screen and the just close? Plugging back into the dock and external display everything is fine again. Anyone have any ideas, it's really limiting my work in School because I have to be tied the the dock & external display to use any Affinity software! Help!!! Staff Dan C Posted July 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted July 29, 2021 Hi @R Smith, Welcome to the Affinity forums and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here! We're currently working through a backlog of tickets, so we appreciate your patience and understanding here Can you please confirm for me, is this issue still occurring for you? I suspect this is either due to your GPU drivers, or perhaps a power saving setting that your Surface Pro 7 has set when not connected to a charger. If this issue still occurs, can you please verify if connecting a charger (but not the dock itself, just a charger) stops the app from crashing also? Many thanks in advance!
