Marc_af
Hi, this questions sounds a bit weird but in Affinity Publisher, when doing "export to PDF" (with Range: all Pages) i only get the first page exported. What am i missing here? Marc Edited March 25, 2021 by Marc_af
Joachim_L
Welcome to the Affinity forums @Marc_af! You are not missing anything here. Never experienced this before myself. What are you using Mac or Windows? What version? Could you do a screenshot of your pages panel and the export dialogue? Could you upload the file? Marc_af
Hi, UI is in german but i think you can imagine how the fields are named in english. See the files attached. Its easy to see even before exporting that this cant be correct since the file size is just 30kb or something. I tried many things now but i really dont know whats going on here. six-skills-ebook.pdf
GarryP
Try removing the word “test” from the Pages (Selten) field in the Export dialog and try again.
Joachim_L
No problem with German on my side. But this gave me a good laugh. Sorry, did not meant you personally. Typing test or something else into the Pages field results in just exporting the first page. Clear this field or type in real page numbers and you are good to go. GarryP was faster a few seconds, but he is right. Marc_af
Ohhhhh. Man. Of course thats it. My brain must have been freezed for a second when i put that in. GarryP
You’re welcome. That field should probably have some validation on it to not accept alphabetic characters (or any other characters that don’t have any meaning to that field), unless there’s functionality I don’t know about. And/or the dialog should warn the user that their input isn’t valid and not let them Export. Either way, it’s too easy for the user to enter an invalid value without them knowing about it. Marc_af
Yeah, you are right about validation but this one is on me
