Image can not be opened

Hello support,

after updating to version 1.9.1979 no image can be opened with Affinity.
In the top right corner it always says "A document is loading".
No matter which image I take nothing happens.
Could you help me here ?

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Demira!

Please go to Preferences >> Performance and uncheck "Hardware Acceleration" and restart the application and try again. I hope this solves your problem.
