KrisConnors
Hi - Can someone please help me, this is driving me wild. I have read through all the help I can find but I am unable to select the option to set the vertical alignment to centre for text in a table. I have disabled the baseline grid but it is still un-available. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.
Joachim_L
Select the cells you want to format and look at the Table panel. KrisConnors
As simple as that - Thank you. I was trying to do it from the menu. I am very grateful, thank you very much. On a separate issue, how do you get your screen to look like that. Mine has a black background and I don't have the tool bar with all the options in like you have there. Joachim_L
First part of your question: Visit Preferences >> User Interface and switch the UI style. Second part of your question: You easily configure your toolbar with View >> Customise Toolbar. KrisConnors
Brilliant - Thank you I am however un-able to put things like paragraph options on the toolbar. They are in the column on the right. Can I move them up?
Joachim_L
1 minute ago, KrisConnors said: Can I move them up? No. You cannot move panels into the upper toolbar. Part of the functions of the Paragraph panel you'll see in the Context Toolbar right below, which will be filled with functions depending on the tool you are currently using. In this Context Toolbar there are also "shortcut buttons" to show the panels if you need them. KrisConnors
Hi, Thats great - Thank you. I don't have hat option in the toolbar though. Do you know how I put it up there?
Joachim_L
The option is always there, when you place a cursor in a cell OR the layout looks like in Fipo's screenshot when you select a cell or several cells.
