loukash
When you try to place a guide by dragging from the vertical ruler with the Crop tool active, this action unexpectedly disables or enables guides. Dragging from the horizontal ruler does nothing at all. Ideally, dragging guides from both rulers or moving existing guides should be available while the Crop tool is active. It is possible to create, move and delete guides in the Crop mode, but only numerically via Guides Manager. Happens in 1.9.1 & 1.9.2 beta. Staff Chris B Posted March 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2021 Hey loukash, Nothing happens for me when I drag a guide from either ruler. What am I missing? Yeah, that's weird: I can't replicate it either, even though yesterday it "worked" in both APh versions. It was some "stuck" key, perhaps. Similar weird things – e.g. cursor glitches – sometimes happen when switching between Acrobat X and other apps. If it happens again, I'll post a screen capture. Nonetheless, it would be nice if the right thing would happen, rather than "nothing", while in crop mode: a guide. I'm sure other people have suggested similar before. I can see how it would be handy but I believe at the moment, it's a concious design choice not to be able to do it. I'll see if I can find the explanation. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
