evtonic3
I can see this as being useful, already have the speech bubble. fde101
walt.farrell
How does a thought bubble differ from a speech bubble? evtonic3
I think so as its more of puffy semi-circles instead of a round or oval shape, but I found it in the cloud tool! I love Affinity.

Guest
While it’s ‘easy’ to make your own, I find there is a benefit to having a flexible set of smart comic speech shapes with variable parameters (start/end positions, curve, join/split, etc) such those found in Comic Life. The tails have multiple options (straight, curved, jagged, multiple), and the speech bubbles themselves are also provided with a number of options (square, rounded, oval, compound, jagged, etc). While these won’t fit every need, they do make laying out text in graphic novels and comics so much easier (and fun). I think a set of similar smart shapes would make a natural addition to the Affinity suite, and probably more useful than the cat shape. Sacrilege! Joking aside, that would indeed be useful, and Serif must have thought so in the past or they wouldn’t have included such things in the set of QuickShapes for their legacy ‘Plus’ applications.
