Are you Opening or Placing the idml file when you say import? It looks like a two page spread is being placed on a single page spread.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Here's a template. It's not a big deal to correct it by hand for few pages, but I have files from Adobe InDesign to import around 250-300 pages to import. Till now I refused to do this job. So, I'm still stuck in the Adobe InDesign, and postpone a complete change to Affinity Designer for all my works. So, I hope it's possible to solve this bug and the import works automatically.

Thanks. Well, so it's a but in AD 1.83. Well, unfortunately there's no automatic update, I have to purchase the newest version. Anyway, thanks.

If you have an older release of any of the Affinity applications the newer release is free. You should not need to purchase again.

well, I've purchased it directly from the Affinity homepage last year. Even I tried to update, I just got the error report:

"Error while updating! An error occurred while loading the update information. Please try again later."

Sure, I know there's no need to purchase again. But I have no idea, what's the problem. Maybe it's because of my macOS Sierra (10.12.6).

Perhaps. But you might try installing the full product, instead of updating. You can download it at https://affinity.store/account/downloads or at https://affinity.store/update/macos/publisher/1
