defining black lines on drawings

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have some black pen drawings that I'd like to print, but first I'd like to define the pen lines into more consistent and defined black lines. I can't see anywhere on Infinity where I can do this.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

is it possible to upload one example  image?

I assume you have scanned images of pen drawings on paper, and no vector images as source.

In that case, there are many options how to handfle this, and the best workflow depends on the source material:

  • Add brightness & contrast adjustment, raise contrast, decrease brightness

  • Add a highpass filter, set blend mode to difference (or experiment with others), add a threshhold adjustment

  • Add a curves layer, add a node and move it down to increase contrast and enlarge darker areas
