Evren Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Hello, i am using macos' Spaces feature. I have a space dedicated to Affinity apps. Normally when an application is activated by opening a file, macos automatically switches to the dedicated space. But due to PDF Options dialog opening before file itself, space switch is not happening. The dialog window waits for a prompt on a hidden space. So i have to manually switch to affinity space every time i open a file prompting this dialog (practically every file which is not an .afdesign file). I know this seems like a minor trouble but when using AD a lot it becomes more annoying. Thank you, Evren Quote
Staff Sean P Posted March 18, 2021 Staff Posted March 18, 2021 Hi Evren, When you notice this is your application running but without a Window? I've set Designer to open up on a specific Desktop space using the context menu on the dock. And when I open a PDF or a document with Affinity closed the app is opened and switches to that, as it does with regular document. With the app window visible but no documents open, no switching occurs. However with the app window not visible (only the menu bar) I do get the behaviour you're seeing. Does this replicate the way you've got yours set up? Quote
Evren Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 Hi Sean, Thank you for your response, and yes, that's the behaviour i'm seeing. Quote
