madad07
Hi. Can you advise? i've been using affinity for several years - never had this issue before. For some reason, now when I open a text frame - it's filled in a lurid purple colour - and I can't find anywhere to change it. I can still type text and alter text colour etc... but can't find any way to make the text frame either black or transparent. What gives? walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. If you're using Publisher: View > Studio > Text Frame, and check the Fill color for the frame. If using Photo or Designer: Create and select a new Text Frame, then use Edit > Defaults > Revert and if that works then Edit > Defaults > Save. If Edit > Defaults > Revert doesn't work, use Edit > Defaults > Factory Reset.
