Brian Sechler Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Can I install the photo software on 2 of my laptop computers? Thank you, Brian Quote
jmwellborn Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Welcome to the Forums @Brian Sechler☺️ As long as the two laptops belong to you and have the same OS (both Windows or both MAC) then yes you can. If the laptops have two different OS then you will need a separate copy for each. All Affinity apps have separate versions for Windows and Mac. Hope this helps! Brian Sechler Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 Both run windows 1 Version 7 and 1 Version 8.1 I use 1 as my main pc and1 pc for a backup will this work? Quote
Alfred Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 The Microsoft Store versions of the Affinity apps require Windows 10. The Affinity Store versions will run on Windows 10 or 8.1 without problems; they will also run on Windows 7, but only with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and the Platform Update installed. Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 17, 2021 Staff Posted March 17, 2021 From here you will see that when bought from the Affinity Store this is fine for personal use. Even if only you are using it for commercial use it is OK to have it on more than one PC but if it's for commercial use and 2 people are both using it on 2 computers then you need 2 licenses On 11/22/2019 at 12:57 PM, Patrick Connor said: Licensing on each OS is fairly generous in terms of installation on other machines on the same OS and can be found here in the relevant "Your Rights and Permitted Use" section.
