myaffinities
ok, newbie question here. I'd like to be able to easily toggle between editing text inside a text box and moving the text box around. I did follow this instruction : Quote To prevent unwanted toggling between tools, go to Preferences and enable Use modifier to cycle tools via the Tools options. but then what ? Obviously, using shift+V doesn't do the job...
walt.farrell
You can press Esc to stop editing, and then click inside the text frame after you've moved it to start editing again. Or you can move the mouse over to the edge of the frame, and when the cursor changes to the 4-headed arrow you can move the frame. The instruction about the Shift key was for switching between tools where multiple tools have the same shortcut; e.g., T which can be either Artistic Text or Frame Text. myaffinities
on the other hand, selecting a frame with the 4-headed arrow doesn't allow me to use shift-select to select and drag multiple frames that way, or is there a solution for that too? walt.farrell
Click outside the frame if you need to select other things. myaffinities
ok, one little annoying thing with the 4-headed arrow is that I don't seem to be able to do incremental moves with the arrow keys, only manually dragging the frame (less accurate)....
