3d illusions
Hi, is it possible to automate the rebuilding of multilayer exr's? I'd like to just open it and everything is grouped, multiplied and added correctly based on user defined naming convention.
Staff stokerg Posted March 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2021 Hi @3d illusions, I'm not aware of an automated way to do this.
Staff James Ritson Posted March 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2021 Hey @3d illusions, if your naming convention always stays the same (e.g. View Layer.Render Pass.RGB, View Layer.DiffCol.RGB, View Layer.DiffInd.RGB etc) for your multichannel data you could record a macro which you would either run upon opening the EXR document, or as part of a batch job if you want to pre-process a set of EXR files and have them ready to edit. Unfortunately there's currently no way of accounting for different naming conventions however.
