Frame Text Link-Arrow not visible on small-vertical frames

If the Text Frame is vertically-small/short the Link-Arrow is not visible, which is a case when one needs linking it most. I need to link up a number of frames from an imported document.

Given that text is primarily horizontal maybe putting on bottom and top is better than left-right? Thanks for considering.

Zoom in to see it, click to load the cursor, zoom out to link to or create a new text frame.
There are many different methods how to zoom quickly, just choose your favorite one. Personally, I like option-two-fingers-tap-and-drag on my MacBook trackpad the best, being incredibely fast while focused on cursor position; you can zoom within a few seconds from 0.2 % up to – and this number is copied from the Zoom factor field – 2,325,581,360 %!
