Peter2 Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 After some searching on the internet I found the shortcut for invert colors to be Ctrl+I But I have yet to find the feature looking through the menus. Under filters I found "Repeat Invert" after I had pressed Ctrl+I So it appears that invert is a filter but the filter itself is not in the filter menu. Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 It's not a Filter. Layer > Invert in the menu. There is also an Invert in the Adjustments, from the Adjustment panel or the Layers panel: Peter2 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Peter2 Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 Thanks, What does it mean to be a filter or not. I would have said inverting colors is one of the basic filters. The Layer > Invert does act like a filter, once used you will see the Repeat filter in the Filter menu as seen in my first screenshot. I think It's all alone in the Layer menu nothing related can be found there. I'm not going to argue to remove it from the Layer menu but an alias at the Filter > Color menu would have saved time and made it discoverable within the program. Quote
