Is It Possible open The PDF file with Passthrough Feature in Affinity Publisher Instead of Place It?

Is It Possible to open a PDF file with “Passthrough” feature instead of Place it in Affinity Publisher? This is to avoid the document with the math equation was created with Microsoft Word broken and I can edit It in Publisher.

No. Open requires interpreting the data in the PDF. Only Place can provide Passthrough.

It's not possible. Open requires interpretation. 

An update sometime could add support for embedded fonts. But any editing must mean that you're interpreting the data.
