This is the situation. (awaiting my copy of AP through mail) I wrote some text on a doc file, copied its, then pasted in text columns. The first column is ok, but as the texts jump into the next column the formatting changes (i.e. font size) when I grab all text (font size is blank, telling me that all are not the same size) and choose a typical uniform size, only parts of the texts are correctly formatted. When I try to fix this, line spacing changes, letters impede over one another, change heaviness of the character and font sizes for the texts further down. I pasted the text plainly, then tried with and without format, then as unicode, but the situation persists, and cannot format the entire text identically everywhere as desired. Is there a tweak I am missing? thank you

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

One common reason for that is the use of the wrong handle when resizing a text frame. If you look at a frame, on the lower right you'll see two handles. One is on the corner of the bounding box. The other is below that and to the right, detached from the box. If you use that detached handle it will resize the text frame, but it will also scale the contents, or any contents you add later.

To fix that you will need to delete that frame and redraw it, and avoid using the detached scaling handle when you resize it.
