lavender
Hello, I do not want to violate the license when selling my works, so I want to ask about the license. Can I use fonts / graphics from programs PUBLISHER/DESIGNER, in my created works (posters, paintings, designs ...) for commercial sale ? Thank you for answer. lavender
I would also very much welcome the addition of a Czech localization. 👍 Edited March 15, 2021 by lavender off topic
Staff SFurniss Posted March 15, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 15, 2021 @lavender There are no fonts included in the software, but the materials that are included come with commercial rights. You can view the full EULA here. https://affinity.serif.com/licence/ With regards to a Czech language version, can I suggest posting a request on our feature request forums https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/52-feature-requests-feedback/
iconoclast
Hi lavender! Affinity programs don't content fonts, as far as I see. So the fonts that appear in your Affinity programs must already have been on your computer. If they are free for commercial use depends on their individual licence restrictions. It's the same with additional stuff for the Affinity programs, but the ones you can buy from the Affinity Store and the free ones you get with updates are normally free even for commercial use. The artworks you create with Affinity software will be free for your commercial use anyway, except you made it with the demo-version. PaulEC
One thing to be aware of. If you are using images from the "Stock" tab you really need to check directly on the individual web pages (Unsplash, Pexels or Pixabay) to see if there are any restrictions on the use of those images. (The point is that these are not supplied by Affinity, it just links to third party stock image providers.) Unsplash and Pixabay should be OK but Pexels is definitely problematic. lavender 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
