Can I re-down load these package onto my new laptop

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the forums @PedroUK😊  If your new laptop has the same OS as the existing one, i.e. Mac to Mac, or Windows to Windows, then you can download Photo and Designer to the new device without a problem.  If you are changing from Mac to Windows, or from Windows to Mac, then you will have to purchase the apps again.  This is because they have been developed for two entirely different OS.  Hope this helps.

Another time, when you wish to post on these forums, it would be a good idea to use a more descriptive title as people will find your entry much faster.  “Title” is confusing, but it means the subject of our queries, rather than our honorific (Dr. Mrs. Gen. Rev. etc.)

Hi,

My issue is similar to Pedro's above.  Except all I did was change my hard drive as the other was dying, etc.  Sadly the data transfer was not as smooth as it should have been but about 95% of my files, thank goodness for the Cloud, were recovered.  Am in the process of downloading app's again.  I have the same Operating System, Windows 10, etc.  I have my product Keys (Designer and Publisher) but the links in the email to download are not working.  So I went to the Affinity Store to log into my account with the email address (above) that was used to buy the product and it keeps telling me that tne email is not recognized!  I thought that maybe I had forgotten the PW, so I did that.  What cracked me up is that while it said it didn't recognize the email, it allowed me to change the PW, lol!  I need to get these downloaded, but cannot get to the account I am sure I set up.  Can you assist?

Thank you!

Margaret

p.s. I found the actual purchase receipt emails and DID find the Download button (yay!), however, when I go to download, it takes me to the Affinity Store, and I get the same message that my email is not recognized.  :(
