LocNetMonster
Just came across this new feature that Adobe has added to PhotoShop. Is this something that can be added to Affinity in a year or two (I use this length of time because I know development would take months of hard work)? This looks pretty amazing. Quote Super Resolution builds on a technology Adobe launched two years ago called Enhance Details, which uses machine learning to interpolate RAW files with a high degree of fidelity, which resulted in images with crisp details and fewer artifacts. The term ‘Super Resolution’ refers to the process of improving the quality of a photo by boosting its apparent resolution,” https://petapixel.com/2021/03/13/adobe-photoshops-super-resolution-made-my-jaw-hit-the-floor/?fbclid=IwAR2cp9YljHy0s3FxyfDS6QZL2Ec6LCZnOyYKUeNjlSFIhyWf_hwtEzpFgSk
RNKLN
There are a few posts on YouTube, whereby comparisons are made between various tools, including from Adobe and Topaz. One post I've watched is by Olivio Sarikas, who's delivered quite a few tutorials for Affinity products. The other one is by Robin Whalley, who's also delivered videos around Affinity products. Interestingly, they come to different conclusions about Adobe's and Topaz' performance. Anyway, it would be nice if Serif could also deliver this type of functionality, since apparently it can enhance the quality of your images. A number of the competitors, not just the above mentioned, already have this.
