pixeldroid
Is it possible to hide the layer bounding box when kerning or making other type adjustments using kbs? Obviously the spacebar can't be held down during this process. Thanks.
Staff Lee D Posted June 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 29, 2021 Hi @pixeldroid, sorry for the delay. Other than holding Space the only other option with regards to the bounding box is when you have the Move Tool selected. On the Context toolbar is an option to "Hide selection while dragging", its icon is an eye in a frame.
pixeldroid
Thanks for the reply. I am aware of those options. But they are not helpful in this situation. There should be an option to hide all indicators of things being selected so that modifications are fully wysiwyg.

So, … … place the Text cursor in the text … move the mouse cursor hovering the character panel … type once (& undo) Then you can • use the mouse in the panel, type values and confirm with the enter key • move the text cursor (w/wo modifier keys) to navigate/select among characters without activating the object's handles. 47 minutes ago, Lagarto said: A bit silly way … and a nice argument for Global Layers, too Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
