Hide Bounding Box when Kerning?

Is it possible to hide the layer bounding box when kerning or making other type adjustments using kbs?

Obviously the spacebar can't be held down during this process.

Hi @pixeldroid, sorry for the delay.

Other than holding Space the only other option with regards to the bounding box is when you have the Move Tool selected. On the Context toolbar is an option to "Hide selection while dragging", its icon is an eye in a frame.

Thanks for the reply.

I am aware of those options. But they are not helpful in this situation. There should be an option to hide all indicators of things being selected so that modifications are fully wysiwyg.

If you enter the frame & type any character the handles disappear (just the box stroke remains). So, …

Then you can
• use the mouse in the panel, type values and confirm with the enter key
• move the text cursor (w/wo modifier keys) to navigate/select among characters

without activating the object's handles.
