homejames261 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Affinity newbie here. Only dabbled in Photoshop before this. In PS, I could have two images open and clone from one to the other. How do I do this in Affinity? Clone doesn't show up on the second image. Quote
Old Bruce Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Hi and welcome to the forums @homejames261, Sadly we cannot do that. The clone source has to be in the same document. So you would have tot copy the layer from your desired source document and paste it into the document you are working on. EDIT: Please see Murfee's excellent and absolutely correct advice below. I love being wrong and learning things. Murfee 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Murfee Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Hi both, I can’t test this at the moment to check it is still possible and that the latest versions haven’t changed the functionality. The attached video is one of the legacy tutorials that James did for Global Cloning. https://player.vimeo.com/video/149628411 Old Bruce 1 Quote
