TOC and SECTIONS.

Hallo zusammen.
Ich habe mich in TOC und Section eingearbeitet. 
Ich würde gerne in TOC mit den Sectionen erstellen und die jeweiligen Überschriften ausgewertet werden.
Auf der linken Seite des Screenshot ist das, was ich gerne haben würde und auf der rechten Seite ist das, was rauskommt.

Das TOC übernimmt die Absatzformate. Die Sektionen sind mit einem Absatzformat formatiert. Daher wird auf jeder Seite die Sektion ausgelesen.
Im Sektionsmanager allerding kann ich die Seiten angeben, die für die jeweilige Sektion gedacht ist. 
An Affinity: Ist es möglich, dass für das TOC auf den Sectionsmanager zugegriffen werden kann?
Oder hat jemand eine Idee, wie das zu realisieren ist?

Hello everybody.
I got used to the TOC and Section.
I would like to create in TOC with the sections and evaluate the respective headings.
On the left of the screenshot is what I would like and on the right is what comes out.

The TOC takes over the paragraph formats. The sections are formatted with a paragraph format. Therefore the section is read out on each page.
In the section manager, however, I can specify the pages that are intended for the respective section.
To Affinity: Is it possible that the section manager can be accessed for the TOC?
Or does someone have an idea how to do that?

What paragraph text style are you using for the section name, and for the chapter headings?

I think you need to use one style for the section name, and a different one for the chapter headings. Then your TOC entries will also have two different section names, and you can adjust the indent of the TOC text style for the headings to provide the indent you want. You can also adjust the "space before" for the TOC text style for the section names.

Ich habe tatsächlich verschiedene Absatzformate verwendet. 
- Heading 1
- Section

Ich habe das auch mal im TOC verdeutlicht. Leider wird nicht die Sektion angeführt, mit den darunterliegenden Headings, sondern es wird fast jede Sektion auf einer Seite aufgeführt.
Meiner Meinung nach ist das TOC noch verbesserungswürdig. Ein gutes Werkzeug für ein einfaches TOC, aber nicht sehr flexibel.

I also made that clear in the TOC. Unfortunately, the section is not listed with the underlying headings, but almost every section is listed on one page.
In my opinion, the TOC could still be improved. A good tool for a simple TOC, but not very flexible.

Thanks. I didn't notice that you also wanted the section title in the TOC to show the range of pages it spanned. That function is available for an Index, but not for a TOC. Still, if you adjust your TOC text styles to indent the chapter titles under the section, that should help. That would give you something like:

Section 1              1
  Chapter 1            1
  Chapter 2            3

Section 2              5
  Chapter 3            5
  Chapter 4            8

etc.

OK. I can live with the fact that the pages "from" "to" (Section 1: 2-10) are not given.
What I don't understand is how do I get the heading under the sections? Unfortunately, I don't get along with your description. Sorry (My English is not very good and I use google translation.)

It also doesn't really work that the respective section is only output once, namely at the respective beginning of the section. All formatted sections are output through the paragraph formats. Hence the weird TOC, which is colorfully diced from headings and sections.

Attached is the AFpub, with which I test. Maybe it will help.

Was ich nicht verstehe ist, wie bekomme ich die Überschrift unter die Sektionen? Da komme ich mit ihrer Beschreibung leider nicht klar. Sorry. (Mein Englisch ist nicht sehr gut und nutze die Google Übersetzung.)

Es funktioniert auch nicht so recht, dass die jeweilige Sektion nur einmal ausgegeben wird, und zwar am jeweiligen Beginn der Sektion. Durch die Absatzformate werden alle formatierten Sektionen ausgebeben. Daher das komische TOC, das bunt gewürfelt aus Überschriften und Sectionen ist.

Im Anhang ist die AFpub, mit der ich test. Vielleicht hilft sie weiter.

Another idea would be that I insert a "heading" that includes the beginning of the respective section. I then have to make sure that the sections in the section manager match the "heading". 😬😀

Eine andere Idee dazu wäre, dass ich eine "Überschrift" einfüge, die den Beginn der jeweiligen Sektion einfüge. Ich muss dann aufpassen, dass die Sektionen im Sektionmanager mit der "Überschrift" zusammenpasst.
