Gradient bitmap not exporting correctly to PDF

letterhead0.1.afdesignThe bitmap gradient I'm using exports fine as JPG or PNG but when I export to PDF it acts weird. Only the footer element seems to be correct.

Do I have to flatten everything before export? Not really useful for future editing.

Find attached the original Designer document, the PDF with the wrong behaviour and the JPG as it's supposed to be exported.

Cheers

From what I see is that your document is not  consistent. On the first page, artboard1, the pixelsimage left top and right bottem have some transparance added. I have change some things. And now you see e few pages. I also see that you don’t rename the artboards in an way to see what’s on them.

Hi kwaai,

I'm not entirely sure why exactly this is happening, however I can see that it is only happening if the shape containing the fill is rectangular. This is why the bottom one is looking correct as that only has 3 nodes. If I remove a node from the other two shapes it will then export to look how you want it to!

I'll get this passed on to development to look into.

Hi Sean,

that's quite interesting, thank you for the tip.
