Hallo,
Version 1.9x:

When creating a table of contents with multiple levels, the entries are swapped
and are in the wrong order.

Furthermore, text sections are taken over in the table of contents that were not selected via the
paragraph formatting for the table of contents (only visible after PDF export).

Is there a way to change the order of the table of contents so that you can
to continue your work ?

Hallo,

I have now discovered the following solution to the problems.

To the problem 1. - Table of contents, swapped entries in "AFP":

This can be solved if you work with text sections by sorting the levels
in reverse order to the entries of the page.

About problem 2 - Table of contents, unselected sections are displayed in the exposed PDF:

I opened the text section with an editor and pasted it again without formatting in "AFP",
assigned the paragraph formatting. Now they had also disappeared in the PDF.

These two solutions are not elegant but it worked.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Inhaltsverzeichnis, vertauschte Einträge in "AFP":

TOC entries are created based on:

  1. The page that the text frame containing the text is on, with earlier pages appearing earlier in the TOC. Then, within a page,
  2. By the order the text frames were created on the page. Note that the first text frame you create on the page is lower in the Layers panel stack than the next text frame. So, if you have two text frames on a page, the one lower in the layer stack is assumed to have been created first, and thus its text is assumed to be higher on the page, and it appears earlier in the TOC entries for that page.
  3. Within a text frame, text earlier in the frame appears earlier in the TOC entries within that frame.
  4. If you have text frames that are Pinned within other frames, that also affects the TOC order, but I haven't played with it enough to describe it.
