Marco-901 Posted March 12, 2021 Share Posted March 12, 2021 Hello all, I can‘t clip my chosen part of my picture into a new layer. After I have made my selection and want to output it to a new layer, the app keeps crashing. I‘m using an Ipad Air3. I attached a screenshot of the last command before the app crushes. This should be in Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. Search for "Photo" and it should have a timestamp in its name. RGreen Posted April 18, 2021 Share Posted April 18, 2021 (edited) I‘ve recently reported the same issue to the forum: The crash is reproducible: 1. Load image file 2. make a selection and refine it 3. select Output „New layer“ or „ New layer with mask“ => CRASH Interestingly enough, with some images it works, but the majority lead to the error. My setting under „Applying filters to vector layers“ is „Rasterise layer and apply“. Only workaround would be to manually rasterise the layer prior to step 2, but I would expect Affinity Photo to manage this, at least not crash. Hope this bug gets fixed soon..
