Hi sorinciupitu,

Can you supply us with a bit more information on your network storage information, particularly what brand and model your NAS drive is, what type of share it is using and any other useful information about its setup. Have you also tried rebooting the NAS box?

TrueNAS-12.0-U2.1

SMB share, with all permissions set correctly

I use MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

I have rebooted my NAS several times, but the problem still exist, but only with Affinity softwares. On other softwares this problem does not exist.

This problem appear in all the network locations, cant open can't save on that locations.

Thanks for that - as I understand it TrueNAS is the operating system? What is the actual model hardware you're using it on?

My NAS has custom hardware build for TrueNAS. I use HP ProDesk 600 G1 TWR with an i3 processor and 12 GB of RAM  DDR3 (4GBx3) and two pools (2x4TB mirror and 4x4TB RAID 10).

I have this problem only with Affinity softwares. Other softwares work flawless.

Thanks for that. I've managed to get TrueNAS running on a VM and currently have a SMB share accessible via an IP address, however I can see yours is currently mounted as a volume. How are you getting that to appear as a volume in macOS? I can only access mine via the IP with guest permissions, and then a separate user folder which is only accessible with the correct details. Both of these I was able to save and open files stored in.

Are you using the Mac App Store version of the app or Affinity Store? If you're using the Mac App Store, would you mind trying to download the beta and give that ago? I'm curious to see if its an issue being caused by Apple's Sandboxing measures - the beta is not affected by these measures. Note the beta can be run side by side and will have a different set of user data and preferences.

I'm connected with my freenas with Finder Cmd+K (Connect to Server shortcut) and then I type smb://192.168.99.120 then I choose the dataset that I want to open or save files
