Joachim_L Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Maybe this was reported before, but I can't remember. 1. Create a document, make a layer, draw on the layer a bit and lock this layer. 2. Use the Crop Tool to rotate the layer a bit. Release the mouse. 3. Unlock the layer. Result: The rotation of the layer is instantly reset. 4. Use the Crop Tool and rotate again. Result: It seems to be that the former rotation angle value is picked up and the layer is rotated instantly by a little mouse movement. HWA on or off has no impact on this behaviour. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
Staff Gabe Posted March 11, 2021 Staff Posted March 11, 2021 Hi @Joachim_L, Thanks for spotting this. Actually this has nothing to do with the locked/unlocked layer. The crop tool crops/rotate the whole document, not just the current layer. You can replicate the same reset in rotation if you hit the lock icon with no layers selected. Issue logged. Joachim_L 1
