There used to be a preview of LUTs in earlier versions, but now in the latest version, they are just in list form. Is it possible to re-instate this as in list form it's time consuming to find just the one to apply.

That was an intentional change in processing. I believe it was done because generating the previews takes a long time if you have a lot of LUTs installed, and Serif implemented the ability to import large numbers of LUTs in one operation. That made it more likely that users would install LUT packages of hundreds of LUTS (or more), and then experience the performance problem.

We don't know what additional changes they may make later. They could reinstate the previews, but unless they can first solve the performance problem that may require some additional option the user can set.

Until then, you need to know the names of the LUTs you want to use, or if you've installed a package of LUTs you may need to use that package's documentation (which should include preview images) to help you select the LUT you want.
