John61 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) There used to be a preview of LUTs in earlier versions, but now in the latest version, they are just in list form. Is it possible to re-instate this as in list form it's time consuming to find just the one to apply. Edited March 11, 2021 by John61 missing version numbers Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 That was an intentional change in processing. I believe it was done because generating the previews takes a long time if you have a lot of LUTs installed, and Serif implemented the ability to import large numbers of LUTs in one operation. That made it more likely that users would install LUT packages of hundreds of LUTS (or more), and then experience the performance problem. We don't know what additional changes they may make later. They could reinstate the previews, but unless they can first solve the performance problem that may require some additional option the user can set. Until then, you need to know the names of the LUTs you want to use, or if you've installed a package of LUTs you may need to use that package's documentation (which should include preview images) to help you select the LUT you want. saljur 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
