evtonic3 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 I can't seem to individually lower the opacity of a certain fill in multi-fill effect I've created using the appearance panel. Is this a bug? Quote

evtonic3 Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 One thing I didn't mention on my fills, the one I can't lower the opacity is a bitmap fill. If I switch over to a standard swatch I can lower the opacity. Quote
Rudolphus Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 I have the same issue even with latest version 2.1. Any opacity changes of a bitmap fill/stroke have no effect at all. And when I select another fill or stroke in the panel and then return back to the bitmap fill with previously changed opacity it is set back to 100%. There is another issue: after changing opacity of a bitmap fill/stroke in Appearance panel you can't change opacity of any fill/stroke of the object. Quote
evtonic3 Posted June 11, 2023 Author Posted June 11, 2023 There is a youtube video where the creator said that the only way to have any transparency/opacity on a bitmap fill in the appearance panel, is to make bring in a texture with opacity already applied. Quote
